Your initial discussion thread is due on Day 3 (Thursday) and you have until Day 7 (Monday) to respond to your classmates. Join the Conversation: Social Media [WLOs: 1, 2, 3, 4] [CLOs: 1, 2, 3, 5]
Reflect: Think about how we utilize social media to make personal and academic connections with others. Think about the benefits and drawbacks of using blogs and social media such as the scenario presented in the video, as well as how you plan to maintain your privacy while online. You are encouraged to get involved and start building your academic community. Find some of your peers online and get connected!
Respond to peers: Review your classmates’ posts and respond to at least two of your peers by Day 7. You may respond in writing or video. Compare their experiences using social media with your own. Share ideas or ways to further protect your privacy while engaging online through Social Media. Each peer response should be at least 75 words in length.
